Lennon standing in a crowded airport
An old man stood beside him
Old man:
“Young man, I think you should go in now…your flight is in 15 mins”
(While looking at Lennon’s air ticket)
Lennon:
“I’m still waiting for someone, she should be here soon”
Old man:
“ahh...who is that lucky girl”
Lennon:
“lol...no no, she's my bestfriend. Her name is Mia”
(Lennon look so proud when saying her name)
Scene 2
Lennon still talking about Mia
Flash back.
“Few years back she moved in next door, that’s how I get to know her”
(They meet...Mia hiding behind her mum, Lennon smiles and Mia smiled)
“Soon after that, we become friend”
(They play in an empty field, Mia chasing Lennon around)
“We were inseparable since, we even went to the same school, ride the train together”
(They sat train together, Mia look nervous, Lennon hold her hands)
“We are even in the same class”
(Sat beside each other in class)
“Mia, she’s a timid person but I remembered once when she stood up for me against a bunch of bullies”
(On the way to train, Lennon get bullied, Mia protect)
“As time pass, things changes, we’re no longer in the same class”
(They entered a different class, Mia look sad, and Lennon looks optimistic to encourage her)
“But we are still close”
(They sat train talking, her new friends sat beside her, they talk to Mia leaving Lennon out)
“Mia grows up to be really pretty, and she really popular among the guys”
(Lennon looks at Mia with her new bunch of friends)
“She’s really smart and athletic too”
(Lennon saw Mia sprain her leg during a race)
“Although she has many friends, when ever she’s sad or unhappy, she turns to me…I’m her pillar of strength”
(Mua cried- so called friends not there to comfort her
Lennon found her in her class room alone, he stayed w her…and carried her home)
“I will not let anyone harm her…and I know she’ll do the same for me”
(Train ride, Lennon sat alone again while Mia sat opposite w her friends…they mumbled something bout Lennon while looking at him…Mia and the friends laugh)
Scene 3
Airport scene
“She said she’s coming...she should be here soon”
Old man:
“Hope she makes it in time”
Lennon:
“I’m sure she will”
Lennon wave the old man goodbye as the old man and his wife went in the terminal…Lennon continue waiting...
Announcement:
“Last call for blah blah, departing in 5 mins…last call for blah blah, departing in 5 mins”
Lennon look at his air-ticket (his flight is departing soon)
As Lennon look at his watch, he saw a pair of legs in front of him
Lennon:
“Mia!”
as he look up…he saw a lady looking at the board behind him (to check for the flight num etc)
Lennon took out a piece of paper and scribble something. He pick up his bag and walk towards the terminal
Lennon:
"Could you please give this paper to this girl?"
(handing the officer on duty beside the terminal, the piece of paper and Mia's picture)
Lennon took one last glance and went in...Mia never came
(the picture and paper sitting on the officer's table untouch)
